Amanda (Mandy) A. Doss is the Clerk of the Lincoln County Superior Court and also serves as Clerk of the Lincoln County Juvenile Court. Mandy has served as Clerk for over 9 years, having first been elected in 2008.  She started her career in the Clerk’s office in 1985, when she was hired by Superior Court Clerk Bruce C. Beggs, working with him for 24 years.

Mandy is a lifelong resident of Lincoln County, Georgia.  She and her husband, Ernie, have been married for 29 years.  They are active in their church, Faith Community Church and enjoy participating in a number of community events.  They have 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren.

The Lincoln County Superior and Juvenile Courts Office responsibilities include:

The management of civil and criminal cases along with juvenile court records as well as permanently filing, recording and preserving records such as deeds, plats, liens, judgments and military discharge records.

The clerk’s office also provides additional support for the court by managing court records and, trial calendars, issuing subpoenas and court notices and jury summons; collecting and disbursing fees, fines, and other costs, and attending all court proceedings.

Other services and responsibilities include issuing notary public applications and filing and maintaining trade name registrations. The clerk oversees the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and has administrative duties of the board.  The clerk’s office also serves as the local passport agent.
