The Lincoln County Board of Elections, serving as Elections Superintendent for the City of Lincolnton, pursuant to the Voting Rights Act of 1965 has submitted to the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division a pre-clearance request to change the method and equipment used to conduct elections for the City of Lincolnton.
