Rob Robinson was elected to the Board of Commissioners in 2008 to represent District 4.

Robinson owned a business in Surfside Beach, South Carolina for 13 years. He has served as president of Sertoma International, a men's civic organization. During his term as president, he spearheaded the construction of a $70,000 children's park in Surfside Beach that was completed in 1990.

Commissioner Robinson and his family have resided in Lincoln County since 1993. In 2004 he retired from Williams Industrial Services, Inc in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Robinson and his wife, Nell, have two children and four grandsons. They are active members of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, where Mr. Robinson has served as a lay leader for the past seven years.
